Baby fish,
We call them fry.
Can’t help but think that that is tempting fate.
You wouldn’t call a baby cow a roast.
You wouldn’t call a baby bread a toast.
Unless you hated bread.
(I don’t.)
These things would seem much less delicious
If we called them baby fishes.
